Wood Worker/Cabinet Builder

DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented individual that is looking to further their career in the woodworking industry. Applicants will be constructing and finishing custom millwork for the trade show industry. The ideal applicant will be knowledgeable of this industry, capable of working with various materials and able to complete projects in a timely manner while maintaining precision, accuracy and attention to detail.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Laminating plywood
  • Applying spray adhesives
  • Assembling millwork
  • Spackling/filling voids
  • Painting
  • General electric work
  • Jigging crates with 2×4 lumber, felt and foam
  • Constructing and assembling exhibits
  • Mounting monitors, graphics, lights, etc.
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy workspace
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must be skilled and knowledgeable in woodworking and cabinetmaking
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of woodworking experience required, 5+ years preferred
  • Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
  • Able to read and understand CAD drawings/blueprints
  • Able to work well with others in a team environment
  • Experience using various general woodworking hand tools and saws
  • Basic math skills

CAD Programmer

DESCRIPTION:

The role of the CAD Programmer is to aide in the manufacturing of exhibits and shop produced materials. The CAD Programmer works together with the Shop Manager/CAD/CAM CNC Programmer and Detailer.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Learn and be able to back up the programming and operation of the CNC Machine
  • Take on the role of Lead Project Manager on special projects
  • Act as liaison with the Project Management Department, hashing out details, attending meetings, keeping schedules
  • Place material and specialized hardware orders
  • Maintain material prices. Periodically shop these prices
  • CAD Detailer back-up
  • Add BOM lists to projects. Supply I&D staff with all information required to perform specific tasks
  • Client contact for specific Shop projects
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Proficient in AutoCAD
  • Have a general knowledge in construction and assembly
  • Communication skills are necessary
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus

I&D Specialist

DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a high-energy, self-motivated individual to join our dynamic team.  This individual can have experience in the following areas: setting up trade show exhibits and displays; working in a warehouse; shipping and receiving; loading and unloading trucks; and a high sense of urgency. We are willing to train the right candidate.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Communicate with the office regarding their onsite labor needs
  • Represent company in a professional manner
  • Keep scheduling and complete paperwork
  • Ability to follow procedures on site and at the warehouse
  • Be flexible and able to make onsite changes
  • Manage the onsite setup and dismantle crew
  • Prepare outbound labels/bills of lading from show site
  • Work in warehouse when not on the road
  • Prepare booths to ship, check hardware and tools
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience at an exhibit house preferred, not required
  • Ability and experience communicating with clients and office
  • Neat, clean, presentable and trustworthy
  • Basic ability to use commonly used software—Email, Phone, camera apps
  • Able to meet the physical demands of the job; long hours, heavy lifting, manual dexterity, mobility
  • Great communication skills and the ability to remain calm and pleasant under a lot of stress
  • Able to travel and work long and odd hours
  • Able to work in the warehouse when not on the road

Shipping & Receiving Associate

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Prepares outbound labels/bills of lading
  • Loading and unloading trucks
  • Check inventory when it comes back and sorts items
  • Previous forklift experience, especially with staking crates at high levels, required
