Exhibit Designer

DESCRIPTION:
The Exhibit Designer creates exhibits, kiosks, corporate interiors etc. based on information provided by Account Managers and the client. They strive to create engaging designs that fit within budget constraints as well as fit the needs of the client. They work with Project Management and Production to ensure a quality product is produced.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Create visually stunning exhibits, etc.
• Produce three-dimensional computer generated images
• Consult with clients on design requirements
• Collect appropriate background and product information
• Clarify design issues
• Help to negotiate and establishing budgets and time-lines
• Ensure that projects meet specifications, keep within budget and run to schedule
• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors and specialists, when proposing a concept
• Attend product update meetings
• Deliver final work to clients for review
• Maintain awareness of current creative trends and influences
• Reply to questions from clients either directly or through the client representative
• Manage rental properties
• Price out exhibit purchases and rentals

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Background in Industrial/Interior Design, particularly computer-aided design
• Creativity and imagination
• Commercial awareness and marketing skills
• Excellent organization and project/time management skills
• Communication and team working skills
• Program proficiency in 3-D modeling, Photoshop & Illustrator, Microsoft Office

 

I&D Specialist

DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a high-energy, self-motivated individual to join our dynamic team.  This individual can have experience in the following areas: setting up trade show exhibits and displays; working in a warehouse; shipping and receiving; loading and unloading trucks; and a high sense of urgency. We are willing to train the right candidate.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Communicate with the office regarding their onsite labor needs
• Represent company in a professional manner
• Keep scheduling and complete paperwork
• Ability to follow procedures on site and at the warehouse
• Be flexible and able to make onsite changes
• Manage the onsite setup and dismantle crew
• Prepare outbound labels/bills of lading from show site
• Work in warehouse when not on the road
• Prepare booths to ship, check hardware and tools

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience at an exhibit house preferred, not required
• Ability and experience communicating with clients and office
• Neat, clean, presentable and trustworthy
• Basic ability to use commonly used software—Email, Phone, camera apps
• Able to meet the physical demands of the job; long hours, heavy lifting, manual dexterity, mobility
• Great communication skills and the ability to remain calm and pleasant under a lot of stress
• Able to travel and work long and odd hours
• Able to work in the warehouse when not on the road

 

Production Manager

DESCRIPTION:
The Production Manager is responsible for implementing the fabrication of exhibits and components.  The Production Manager is the liaison between the Production Department and the rest of the company.  He/she oversees the detailing and documenting of all production aspects, maintaining and managing all time-frames and scheduling, and the ordering of materials.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Understand and manipulate comprehensive and accurate CAD drawings based on design concepts
• Use experience and Shop Standards to turn designs into reality
• Oversee the Production Department
• Assign responsibilities and duties, ordering materials, establishing schedules, managing and monitoring project execution and recording department progress by project
• Work with the Production staff, to improve on techniques, implement SOPs, and collaborate on standards
• Provide leadership, document discipline and uphold basic employment standards of conduct
• Recognize and implement time saving and cost cutting efficiencies within the department

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Thorough knowledge of construction, materials, and building techniques
• AutoCAD and other construction software experience is required
• Microsoft Office proficiency is needed
• Excellent communication, multi-tasking, and management skills are required

 

Exhibit/Cabinet Builder

DESCRIPTION:
The role of the Exhibit/Cabinet Builder is to create well-crafted exhibits and exhibit components using a variety of skills and tools.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Handle projects from all stages of production
• Laminate woodworking skills
• Set up and operate trim routers, drill presses, lathes, shapers, sanders, edge bending and wood nailing machines
• Verify dimensions and ensure wood isn’t warped, cracked or swollen
• Cut, shape and smooth wooden parts
• Connect the pieces to form a complete unit by adding fasteners and adhesives
• Keep work area and shop clean and organized
• Assist the I & D team with the building and set-up of new and rental exhibits when needed

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Journeymen level finish carpenter
• Ability to read and understand blueprints

Account Executive

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Cultivating and vetting leads
• Meeting with prospective clients, and giving presentations
• Facilitating a smooth process by working with all sales-support departments
• Manage all stages of the selling and closing process
• Some local/remote travel may be required
• Provide outstanding customer service

• Willingness to put in the necessary time and effort to complete a task
• College degree is required

Industry Experience is not required, but HIGHLY valued
